Just like seemingly every festival out there, ACL is now turning their lineup announcement into some sort of social media game/buzz/whatever, and this is happening this year by way of their “lineup lottery” wherein which there will be lottery cards (just like the one pictured above) scattered around at several local businesses in Austin every day between now and next Monday, May 16th, where scratching off the ticket will reveal some bands who will be in the lineup for this year’s festival, happening September 16th through 18th down at Zilker Park in Austin. As an additional carrot to dangle in your collective faces, if you match all three bands on the card, you win some VIP passes to the fest.

To participate in this, click on over to ACL’s official lineup lottery page every day to see the names of 5 Austin businesses where the cards will be available, and then get over there and check it out.

As of today (Thursday), it appears the first 3 bands to be revealed on the lottery tickets are Fleet Foxes, Delta Spirit and J. Roddy Walston & The Business. We will update when more are revealed, or you can leave comments below if you uncover some additional acts.
