Lollapalooza 2010 Webcast Schedule, Free Wifi at the Fest, iPhone/Android Apps

The great Lollapalooza descends upon Chicago this weekend, and while sadly I will not be in attendance this year, I along with all of you can catch some of the many bands playing this year’s festival with the Lollapalooza webcast which kicks off at 2PM Central on Friday afternoon, and you can click right here to access the webcast once it goes live. Additionally I have posted the schedule of the webcast as it stands now so you can see which bands you are going to be able to check out this year. I will note that the times for these “live” webcasts are generally not at all consistent with the actual Lollapalooza schedule, most notably that Green Day is listed as Sunday here and they are actually playing on Saturday, so I’m not sure how “live” these will actually be, but this is the schedule as it is posted now at the official site.
Also, for those of you who are going to the fest you can partake of free Wifi throughout Grant Park and you can partake while using either the iPhone or Android versions of the Lollapalooza app. You can see more info about the WiFi and the apps here on Lolla’s blog.
