Amazon has been running this deal for a little while now where they pick 100 albums to offer on Amazon MP3 for $5 each month. And usually they have some damn solid selections, but this month they have dropped some huge ones on us from the first half of 2010 with the NPR listeners’ top album of the year so far Gorillaz’ Plastic Beach and one of my personal favorites, James Mercer and Danger Mouse as Broken Bells’ self-titled album Broken Bells. There are also uber-indie classics like Arcade Fire’s Funeral and The Strokes’ fantastic Is This It.
