Superchunk Announces Some NYC Shows, More Tour Dates, New Album On The Way

Some of this news is a little old, but some is also new, so it is all compiled here. The important things are this:
1) Superchunk is recording and releasing a new album, their first in 9 years, called Majesty Shredding (awesome). Stereogum has the news on the new record. So presumably for numbers 2 and 3 below, you will hear some new material at the shows.
2) Per BrooklynVegan, Superchunk has announced a couple of NYC shows on September 18th at Bowery Ballroom and September 19th at Music Hall of Williamsburg, tickets go on sale this Wednesday, and tickets should be available here when that time comes.
3) Superchunk is also playing some festival dates around the world this summer, full listing of dates is below.
