This Week in the Big D [Dallas Events - March 8th-14th, 2010]

What is going on this week in the Big D?!??!!? First and foremost there is the NX35 Music Conferette taking place in Denton this weekend, which has a pretty incredible lineup of bands to partake of including The Flaming Lips, Neon Indian, and TONS more great bands. Additionally in Dallas the annual Greenville Avenue St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Block Party are taking place this coming Saturday for all interested parties, while the actual St. Patrick’s Day is next week. Also, since we are fast approaching SXSW we are starting to see some of the usual Dallas influx of shows surrounding that event start to ramp up (notably a lot of bands at NX35 will be hitting SXSW next week as well. Check it all out, this is a great time of year.
