Big time announcement today as Pitchfork has dropped some big names that will be playing their Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago coming up this July 16th through 18th. Not only do they have the greatness of Pavement making an appearance, they also have announced that LCD Soundsystem, Modest Mouse, St. Vincent and Wu-Tang’s Raekwon will all be making appearances as well. Once again shaping up to be a killer festival, full list of the announced slate so far below, and I’m sure there will be many more surprises and additions between now and July. Tickets go on sale today at noon central here, one day passes are $40, while the 3-day are $90.
