Buffalo Tom – Sleepy Eyed [Throwback Thursday]

Buffalo Tom is a band from Boston that was out there in the early 90s making some great alternative of the era kinds of rock records just like this one, and they actually made a bit of a comeback releasing a new record Three Easy Pieces back in 2007 (which, I have to admit, I have not heard). This record is a good typical kind of showing for them, with a more polished sound and songwriting style than with their early, early material, but a little more raw than their most polished, but still with some great 90s era distorted guitars and choppy hooks that really take you back to those days. Great stuff from these guys and this was a good one for them. This was released in 1995 and it is certainly one of those that brings me back.
