Nathan Williams, AKA Wavves, is still trucking along despite some very well publicized incidents here and there and has now announced a more fleshed out tour this fall which sees him and Zach Hill coming to our fair burg of Dallas. For this year Wavves has certainly been the poster child for indie music P4k over-hypedness, next big thingedness and got so much attention so fast it kind of got too big I think, but the record is really good and despite the fact that I wasn’t blown away seeing them at SXSW they had some good things going there. I will be extremely curious to check out this show and see the progress from March until October and see how they are doing now, but you guys should all come check them out if you get a chance.
