Throwback Thursday – Superchunk – “Hyper Enough”

In honor of the long awaited release this week of “Leaves in the Gutter”, the first new Superchunk material in years, here is their classic video from “Here’s Where the Strings Come In” for “Hyper Enough”. In addition to the new EP being out there, they will also be playing at Coachella next weekend and if you are going to that and are going to see them, I am fairly jealous as I have been wanting to see them again for a long time. Go on tour guys, please.

Briefly on the new EP, it is great stuff. The “single” of “Misfits & Mistakes” (which I guess was from Aqua Teen Hunger Force or something?) is alright, but the rest of the EP really outshines it I think in true ‘Chunk fashion. “Learned to Surf” is classic ‘Chunk and definitely makes me wish I was going to Coachella this year.
