TV On The Radio – “Golden Age” and “Dancing Choose” on SNL
Posted February 8th, 2009 · Artists: TV On The RadioTV On The Radio made their debut appearance on SNL this Saturday on the strength of their album “Dear Science” which garnered many top album of the year nods and much critical praise, including from yours truly. These guys are really a great band, but kind of like when I saw them live last year, the mix on “Golden Age” left a little something to be desired. Fortunately though, they had a WAY better mix on “Dancing Choose” and actually turned in a really kick ass version of that song. That one is above and “Golden Age” is after the break.
I will add a higher quality version if it surfaces, there is some interlacing issues on that one. Also, although we didn’t get anything as cringe-worthy as the Steve Martin banjo disaster from last week, this week they had a pretty funny digital short last night with Andy Samberg and T-Pain called “I’m On A Boat”, check it out below.
