Ra Ra Riot with Walter Meego Tour Dates

One of the great new discoveries for me earlier this year was Ra Ra Riot when I saw them opening for The Cribs at Double Door, and I was really impressed with both their stage energy and their songs. I was instantly converted into a fan, and now they have announced a slew of tour dates in support of their upcoming album “The Rhumb Line” (pictured above), out August 19th on Barsuk Records, which is one of the main albums I am looking forward to this summer/fall. I really enjoyed their show earlier this year and will certainly try to check them out at the Wicker Park Fest if I can (btw that Siren Fest lineup is super badass), and I would recommend checking them out if you get a chance, and the new album should be pretty solid based off of everything I’ve heard from them so far. As an added bonus, a lot of these upcoming dates are with the great Walter Meego from Chicago, who also have a new album out, “Voyager”, that I really like, and I saw them live last year opening for VHS or Beta and they were quite good. I would certainly say that this is a great dual bill to check out if they are coming to your town. Tour dates are as follows:
